The best I could do was take a photo of the tree lighting program.  It was dark, cold and I wasn’t able to get a good picture of the lit tree.  However, I am going to try to take a photo of the Millennium Plaza tree soon.  I am still learning night photography.  Sorry to disappoint.

I have a new camera that I need to start playing with, so hopefully soon I will get some Christmas photos to share.

What’s interesting is that all of the other towns around Portland have called it a “Christmas” tree lighting, but Lake Oswego chose to call it a “holiday” tree lighting.

Lake Oswego Antique Cars Boats PT Boat Water Skis 

This year’s show of Lake Oswego Antique Cars Boats PT Boat Water Skis is scheduled for August 21 with an historic PT boat at the Foothills Dock.  Plus there will be boats on the Lake Oswego Corporation docks behind Sundeleaf Plaza.

On-land boats and rare and impressive automobiles will be on display at George Rogers Park.  There’s a vintage water ski show at Lakewood Bay and a historic PT Boat at the Foothills Dock on Saturday August 20 – don’t miss it.

Tomorrow, October 7 at 10 a.m., there will be a dedication of this Forest Heritage mural in Lake Grove by Nicole Roskos. It is at the Lake Grove Shopping Center behind Starbucks and Rite Aid. It’s quite colorful and artistic. Go and check it out.

August 26 in Millennium Plaza Park there was a celebration and an unveiling of the Centennial Sculpture which I have already posted on this blog, plus the public met the artists of the new rotating sculptures – the 15 additions – to the Gallery Without Walls.

There was music by a marimba band -  Wood Vibrations – and dancers on hand.  It was a gorgeous August evening and there were lots of people in the Plaza and out on tours of the new sculptures.

I was there and met many of the artists and enjoyed the evening.
