Sunset From Sundeleaf Plaza Park

I took this picture at the beginning of Summer from Sundeleaf Plaza Park looking over towards Millennium Plaza Park and Lake View Village.  The colors feel like it should be an Autumn sunset so I am posting it now that Fall has arrived and especially since the park is getting dedicated today.

Sundeleaf Plaza Park is a wonderful park for us in Lake Oswego to be as close to the lake as we can get without living on the Lake. It’s a great park for just relaxing or “people watching” too.

Lake Oswego Summer Solstice 2011

The first day of summer it was 86 degrees here in Lake Oswego and we had this gorgeous sunset. I took this photo from Lake Oswego High School as I was heading towards home. If any saw this sunset you know it looked exactly as my picture.

It looked like the sky was on fire. The next day it was cloudy and cooler. Looking forward to more days like this one.

Sunset From Lake Oswego

It was a gorgeous sunset one August evening as I was coming home from the office and shot this from my car window.  It almost looks like the sky was painted.  This is the first picture of a sunset I’ve ever taken, I know you’d think I would have taken one before this.  I’ve just never been a photographer until now.
